Freedom Rings because Heroes Serve

JAMES CAMERON, Guest of Honor Saturday, September 13, 2008 The 2008 Globe and Anchor Gala was held at the Manchester Grand Hyatt in San Diego in September. It was a wonderfully elegant affair with spectacular views of the city and the San Diego Bay. The Marine Corps Recruit Depot Band was magnificent in their performance. The even was attended by members of the Society and many dignitaries, including guest of honor James Cameron who impressed the attendees with an eloquent and moving speech.
