Founded in 1988, the MCRD Museum Historical Society’s mission is to support the Command Museum. The Command Museum portrays the legacy of the Marine Corps, and serves as a bridge to the civilian community. The Museum includes over 22,000 square feet of indoor Marine Corps and Navy exhibits that span legendary battlefields from various eras of the Corps, to include modern warfare in the deserts of Iraq. Admission is free, and the Museum is open to the public. Benefits of Membership are many and the activities
of the MCRD Museum Historical Society will be as important in the future
as they are today. Be a part of the “Marine Team” and join in
to help preserve the history and traditions of the United States Marine Corps.
Your membership is important if we are to continue to preserve this rich
legacy for generations to come. |
