Thanks to the efforts
of the MCRD Museum Historical Society and a grant from the County of
San Diego's County Enhancement Program, the Museum now has 15 different
gallery and exhibit movie presentations on the web site. The movies vary
in length from 90 seconds to about six minutes and provide an informative
and educational tour of the Museum. If you use Internet Explorer as a
browser, you need the latest version of Flash Player to view the movie.

names...
When you head out to run or jog around the Depot you pass roads with such names as: St. Thomas Ave., Belleau Ave., Guantanamo St., Henderson Ave., Seminole St., Chosin Ave., Tientsen Ave. and Tripoli Ave., to name only a few. Even an uneducated guess will tell you these names have significance in Marine Corps history. So, where are these avenues and streets, and what do they represent that is of importance to us all? more... |
